Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Finspång IFK's Nils-Emil Kinnman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stefan Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Gustaf Hägert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute Nils-Emil Kinnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Björn Blomquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dingle BF's zone, Albert Karlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Blomquist came out of the goal and Albert Karlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oscar Rolandsson's late challenge caught a Finspång IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Rolandsson helped the player get up and apologised. Ivan Pettersson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nils-Emil Kinnman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Björn Blomquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Finspång IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Vester came free, but Gustaf Hägert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dingle BF's Oscar Rolandsson got a free kick in the 30th minute. Björn Blomquist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ivan Pettersson. Björn Blomquist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nils-Emil Kinnman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. Gustaf Hägert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Gunnarsson in the 41st minute of play forced Finspång IFK's goalkeeper Gustaf Hägert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dingle BF's Björn Blomquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Kinnman in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evert Vester to make the kick off. Stefan Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gustaf Hägert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Vester in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaf Hägert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Finspång IFK's zone, Evert Vester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaf Hägert came out of the goal and Evert Vester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Finspång IFK's Gustaf Hägert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Vester in the 67th minute of play. Dingle BF's Jonathan Biörkquist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Finspång IFK. In the 88th minute Evert Vester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Hägert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nils-Emil Kinnman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
