Per-Åke Göransson scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isac Jönsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rikard Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, BK Linköping's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Göransson came free, but Isac Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Eric Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Nils-Emil Kinnman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isac Jönsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Nils-Emil Kinnman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Isac Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils-Emil Kinnman scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isac Jönsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustaf Hägert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Finsberg in the 26th minute of the match. Isac Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Kinnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Finsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Gustaf Hägert made a huge save. Per-Åke Göransson took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isac Jönsson. Isac Jönsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 46th minute, Nils-Emil Kinnman made a precise shot to the right of Isac Jönsson. BK Linköping's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

In the 54th minute, Per-Åke Göransson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Finspång IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Nils-Emil Kinnman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Kinnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils-Emil Kinnman struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Isac Jönsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Finspång IFK. 70 minutes into the match, BK Linköping's goalkeeper Isac Jönsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Åke Göransson. In the 77th minute, Ivan Pettersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Andreas Löfgren in the 79th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gustaf Hägert's left hand side. When Nils Finsberg came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the BK Linköping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils Finsberg couldn't finish the play. Isac Jönsson made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Per-Åke Göransson sent off a good shot on target. Per-Åke Göransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Isac Jönsson made a huge save. After 86 minutes, Eric Olofsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Linköping and the Finspång IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BK Linköping's Eric Olofsson got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience was convinced that Nils-Emil Kinnman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Jönsson was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Leonardo Henriksson's late challenge caught a Finspång IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Henriksson helped the player get up and apologised. Leonardo Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Isac Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Kinnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Per-Åke Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Jönsson having to interfere. When Eric Olofsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. After 97 played minutes BK Linköping got a freekick which was hit by Eric Olofsson. Finspång IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
