Björn Blomquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Staffan Wallander's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Evert Vester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dingle BF's Björn Blomquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Staffan Wallander in the 8th minute of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Evert Vester sped through BK Linköping's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isac Jönsson. In the 17th minute, BK Linköping's Staffan Wallander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Björn Blomquist. Björn Blomquist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Dingle BF's Stefan Gunnarsson in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Linköping's goalie prevented a goal. Leonardo Henriksson's late challenge caught a Dingle BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Henriksson helped the player get up and apologised. Leonardo Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Evert Vester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Isac Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isac Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Gunnarsson in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Linköping's goalkeeper Isac Jönsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isac Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Stefan Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Evert Vester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Jönsson was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Isac Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Gunnarsson in the 42nd minute of play. Stefan Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Isac Jönsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evert Vester to strike the kick off in the second half. Evert Vester struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Isac Jönsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dingle BF. BK Linköping's Isac Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Vester in the 60th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Dingle BF's Stefan Gunnarsson made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isac Jönsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the BK Linköping defense, Einar Forsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Jönsson. The BK Linköping fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Jönsson should have stopped the shot. Stefan Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Vester in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of Dingle BF booed when BK Linköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Sävström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dingle BF's Stefan Gunnarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Vester in the 82nd minute of play forced BK Linköping's goalkeeper Isac Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stefan Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Stefan Gunnarsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Stefan Gunnarsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isac Jönsson having to make a save. Dingle BF's Björn Blomquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Finsberg in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dingle BF's zone, Staffan Wallander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Björn Blomquist came out of the goal and Staffan Wallander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
