Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Östhammar's Ingvar Mårtensson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Ingvar Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östhammar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Mårtensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Andy Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14thth minute of the game Lennart Thedin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Östhammar's Emil Jespersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Östhammar's Karl-Åke Hökqvist threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingvar Mårtensson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Richard Berggren didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 17th minute. Östhammar's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Tobias Melander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Emanuel Ahlfors hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennart Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Tobias Melander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Jespersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Östhammar's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Bergendahl came free, but Emil Jespersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Östhammar's Richard Berggren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Åke Hökqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Lennart Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vilgot Nyberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Östhammar's Emil Jespersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Thedin in the 47th minute of play.

In the 51st minute, Tobias Melander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Jespersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Holm RK's Karl-Åke Hökqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Mårtensson in the 54th minute of play. Lennart Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Vilgot Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Tobias Melander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lennart Thedin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Emil Jespersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ingvar Mårtensson came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Östhammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Mårtensson couldn't finish the play. Richard Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute Ingvar Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Hökqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Holm RK's zone, Richard Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Åke Hökqvist came out of the goal and Richard Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bror Aspengren hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Karl-Åke Hökqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Berggren in the 82nd minute of the match. Richard Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Hökqvist having to interfere. Richard Berggren struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Karl-Åke Hökqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östhammar. Holm RK played a much better game than Östhammar and deserved their victory. The Östhammar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
