Black Sphinx XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Hammarberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calle Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Hedkvist having to interfere. In the 13th minute Hugo Wallman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Sphinx XI's Dan Lind got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Dan Lind got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Daniel Hammarberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eddie Ahlroht. Heavy Reds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Hammarberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Dan Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Lind received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eddie Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Wallman in the 41st minute of play forced Black Sphinx XI's goalkeeper Petter Hedkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Lind stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Hugo Wallman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Dan Lind who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Heavy Reds's Eddie Ahlroht was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Wallman might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petter Hedkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugo Wallman ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Dan Lind got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dan Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Heavy Reds's zone, Daniel Hammarberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eddie Ahlroht came out of the goal and Daniel Hammarberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Lind in the 81st minute of play forced Heavy Reds's goalkeeper Eddie Ahlroht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddie Ahlroht made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Daniel Hammarberg sent off a good shot on target. Calle Persson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Petter Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Black Sphinx XI's zone, Hugo Wallman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petter Hedkvist came out of the goal and Hugo Wallman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
