Spectators: 6674 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Richard Ekelund took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, Richard Ekelund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Mattias Högman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calle Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Strömberg having to interfere. Ola Zachrisson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Ahlroht having to make a save. 27 minutes into the game, Claes Sundberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heavy Reds's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ervalla FK the free kick. The supporters of Ervalla FK booed when Heavy Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Richard Ekelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Ahlroht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Ekelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Eddie Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ervalla FK's Ola Zachrisson got a free kick in the 35th minute. Eddie Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Ekelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Jansson got free with Eddie Ahlroht in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Wallman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ola Zachrisson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eddie Ahlroht tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Ekelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Ekelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Richard Ekelund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ervalla FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Ekelund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Ahlroht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Richard Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Rikard Blomquist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludwig Lundberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eddie Ahlroht. Heavy Reds's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Leonardo Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Richard Ekelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ervalla FK's Leonardo Hansson got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddie Ahlroht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Zachrisson in the 89th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Ola Zachrisson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ervalla FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ola Zachrisson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eddie Ahlroht breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ervalla FK had played much better football throughout.
