Jan Telin took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Erik Kilström. Karl-Erik Kilström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 19 minutes, Jan Telin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rönnäng IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Telin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rönnäng IF's Jan Telin in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jävrebyn's goalie prevented a goal. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rune Sillén to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jan Telin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. Linus Kihlman's late challenge caught a Jävrebyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Linus Kihlman helped the player get up and apologised. Linus Kihlman hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rönnäng IF booed when Jävrebyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Axel Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Tobias Östman sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Karl-Erik Kilström threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tobias Östman this time. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jävrebyn's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Kilström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jävrebyn's Charlie Alströmer got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tobias Östman shot from long distance in the 89th minute, but Karl-Erik Kilström was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludwig Eskilsson got free with Karl-Erik Kilström in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Rönnäng IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jävrebyn throughout the match.
