An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Groth in the 12th minute of play forced Jävrebyn's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Kilström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jävrebyn's zone, Alvar Groth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Erik Kilström came out of the goal and Alvar Groth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robin Almkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Kjell Ekgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Erik Kilström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kjell Ekgren struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Karl-Erik Kilström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bajen Boys FC. In the 30th match minute, Jävrebyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Kristiansson to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Groth hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Robin Almkvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bajen Boys FC's Tom Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Sillén in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kjell Ekgren made the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Jävrebyn got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Kristiansson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Ekgren in the 58th minute of play forced Jävrebyn's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Kilström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, David Billvall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bajen Boys FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jävrebyn the free kick. The supporters of Jävrebyn booed when Bajen Boys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Billvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bajen Boys FC's Sören Svensson suffered a sore thigh after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 62 minutes, Gustaf Kristiansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jävrebyn and the Bajen Boys FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Gustaf Kristiansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvar Groth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Karl-Erik Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If David Billvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvar Groth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Erik Kilström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Rune Sillén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Hjortberg having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Robin Almkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kjell Ekgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Karl-Erik Kilström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Ekgren charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Ekgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kjell Ekgren hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Kjell Ekgren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. A collision led to Bajen Boys FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Kjell Ekgren hit a great ball. The Jävrebyn supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bajen Boys FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bajen Boys FC.
