In the 3rd minute, one of Råneå IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Råneå IFK. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Bajen Boys FC's Otto Olofsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ture Wickander. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sören Svensson during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sören Svensson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Kjell Ekgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alvar Groth who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Ture Wickander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Uno Benett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell Ekgren in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ture Wickander saved Råneå IFK from getting behind. 21 minutes into the game, Kjell Ekgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ture Wickander. Kjell Ekgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 28 played minutes Bajen Boys FC got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ove Lundin. Bo Palmquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Ekgren was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Groth in the 57th minute of play forced Råneå IFK's goalkeeper Ture Wickander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 58 minutes of play, Bajen Boys FC's Alvar Groth made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ture Wickander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ture Wickander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Groth in the 62nd minute of the match. Kjell Ekgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ture Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell Ekgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ture Wickander having to interfere. Råneå IFK's Ture Wickander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Ekgren in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Kjell Ekgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Råneå IFK's Ture Wickander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ture Wickander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvar Groth in the 82nd minute of the match. Alvar Groth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Bajen Boys FC were the better team. Bajen Boys FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
