A collision led to Batman FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marc Björk hit a great ball. Batman FC's Emil Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Säf in the 7th minute of play. Arne Frisk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olle Borre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Batman FC booed when Hyllie IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Hjelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Hjortberg in the 12th minute of play forced Hyllie IK's goalkeeper Arne Frisk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albin Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Batman FC's Emil Petersson got control of the ball when Samuel Fågel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Hyllie IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Olof Wallgren to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Hyllie IK's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Hjortberg came free, but Arne Frisk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albin Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emil Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olle Borre took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Frisk. Arne Frisk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddie Hjortberg to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Fågel in the 55th minute of play forced Batman FC's goalkeeper Emil Petersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Batman FC's Carl Bäcklin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Emil Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Fågel, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Eddie Hjortberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Frisk having to interfere. Arne Frisk made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Olle Borre sent off a good shot on target. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Batman FC's Eddie Hjortberg in the 66th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Arne Frisk was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Hyllie IK through an amazing save. Olle Borre came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arne Frisk could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Eddie Hjortberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arne Frisk. That made the score 2-2 in the 74 minute of play. In the 78th minute, Claes Bryngelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Hjelm's late challenge caught a Batman FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrik Hjelm helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, Hyllie IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Hjelm to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes Hyllie IK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marc Björk who took care of the corner kick. Jan-Olof Wallgren charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Olof Wallgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hyllie IK's Jan-Olof Wallgren got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Olle Borre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olle Borre's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arne Frisk firmly grabbed it by the left post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
