Spectators: 7289 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 65) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Folke Hurtig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Olle Ekgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikbolandet FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Olle Ekgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Hurtig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Folke Hurtig came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Vikbolandet FK's Olle Ekgren. But to his dismay, Olle Ekgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute, Johnny Majman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patric Arenstedt struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Tommy Alstedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Myresjö. Alex Fredriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Fredriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vikbolandet FK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alex Fredriksson hit a great ball. Patric Arenstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Tommy Alstedt made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Vikbolandet FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patric Arenstedt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tommy Alstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Vikbolandet FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Mikael Martinsson scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Alstedt, making the score, 1-2. Vikbolandet FK's Tommy Alstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Martinsson in the 35th minute of play. If Patric Arenstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Martinsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Alstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. When Mikael Martinsson came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Myresjö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikael Martinsson couldn't finish the play. In the 47th match minute, Vikbolandet FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Burman to maneuver through the defense. The Myresjö players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vikbolandet FK were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Haström to make the kick off. Tommy Alstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patric Arenstedt in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Myresjö's goalkeeper Folke Hurtig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alexander Haström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olle Ekgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Folke Hurtig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vikbolandet FK's zone, Mikael Martinsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Alstedt came out of the goal and Mikael Martinsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Vikbolandet FK's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Arenstedt came free, but Tommy Alstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olle Ekgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes Myresjö got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Martinsson. Tommy Alstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Haström in the 99th minute of play forced Myresjö's goalkeeper Folke Hurtig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
