An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Ekrot in the 17th minute of play forced Tobo FF's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Ahlroht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kåre Alrots short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Torsten Larsfält to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Claret Blue FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Viktor Drewitz hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Magnus Bergkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobo FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Magnus Bergkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Larsfält breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th match minute, Tobo FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Runberg to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kåre Alrot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvar Sandberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Ove Ahlroht. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Jan-Ove Ahlroht dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Jan-Ove Ahlroht made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dick Skark in the 75th minute. Evert Strömberg kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Skark got free with Jan-Ove Ahlroht in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Ove Ahlroht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kåre Alrot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Magnus Bergkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Larsfält was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. The Claret Blue FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
