Ulf Eckegren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Kåre Alrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulf Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Bergkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Roy Sjö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Tobo FF booed when Björköby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Käller didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tobo FF's Elof Högström got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 31 played minutes Björköby got a freekick which was hit by Henric Frisk. After recieving a nice pass, Tobo FF's Magnus Bergkvist tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Björköby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henric Frisk to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kåre Alrot in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulf Eckegren saved Björköby from getting behind. Kåre Alrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björköby's Ulf Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Bergkvist in the 37th minute of play. Ulf Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Bergkvist in the 44th minute of play. If Magnus Bergkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Roy Sjö made the kick off in the second half. Kåre Alrot who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Ulf Eckegren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esbjörn Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Kåre Alrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Eckegren having to interfere. In the 62ndth minute of the game Magnus Bergkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Björköby's Ulf Eckegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kåre Alrot took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulf Eckegren. Ulf Eckegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Bergkvist in the 68th minute of play forced Björköby's goalkeeper Ulf Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kåre Alrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ulf Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magnus Bergkvist in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulf Eckegren saved Björköby from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Bergkvist in the 83rd minute of play forced Björköby's goalkeeper Ulf Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Bergkvist scored 1-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulf Eckegren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ulf Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Bergkvist in the 86th minute of play. Ulf Eckegren was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Evert Strömberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evert Strömberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Kåre Alrot succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-7 in the 97th playminute.
