Jan-Erik Cane made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Robert Liljeström sent off a good shot on target. Kåre Vedholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orvar Söderquist having to make a save. Robert Liljeström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Robert Liljeström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Erik Cane made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Robert Liljeström sent off a good shot on target. Håkan Tingelholm's late challenge caught a Skarpnäcks IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkan Tingelholm helped the player get up and apologised. 19 minutes into the match, Kurt Sandström sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jan-Erik Cane threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Kurt Sandström this time. When Kåre Vedholm came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Astral Claws fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kåre Vedholm couldn't finish the play. Kåre Vedholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Orvar Söderquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Kåre Vedholm put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Orvar Söderquist. Orvar Söderquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kåre Vedholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Astral Claws's Kåre Vedholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orvar Söderquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henry Nyman might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orvar Söderquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henry Nyman ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Nyman in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Söderquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orvar Söderquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Nyman in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Söderquist saved Skarpnäcks IK from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Nyman in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orvar Söderquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Kåre Vedholm made a precise shot to the right of Orvar Söderquist. Skarpnäcks IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Henry Nyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Söderquist having to interfere. Henry Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 79 played minutes Skarpnäcks IK got a freekick which was hit by Robert Aleberg. Ingvar Brolin's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Orvar Söderquist on his right side and into the goal. 80 minutes into the game it was 0-4. In the 84th match minute, Astral Claws was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Nyman to maneuver through the defense. Henry Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jan-Erik Ugla fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skarpnäcks IK's protests and gave Jan-Erik Ugla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Skarpnäcks IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Erik Ugla to maneuver through the defense. Orvar Söderquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orvar Söderquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Nyman in the 92nd minute of the match. Henry Nyman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Orvar Söderquist came out and tried to block the shot, but Henry Nyman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 95th minute. Astral Claws's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
