In the 34th minute, Håkan Tingelholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Junosuando was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Gullesson to maneuver through the defense. Kåre Vedholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Collin having to interfere. Kåre Vedholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Pär Collin made a huge save. Pär Collin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kåre Vedholm in the 45th minute.

Mårten Åkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Collin having to interfere. Håkan Tingelholm scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pär Collin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Håkan Tingelholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a little luck, Astral Claws's Jan-Erik Cane got control of the ball when Lukas Torstensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Elias Strand fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Junosuando's protests and gave Elias Strand a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Astral Claws booed when Junosuando was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Strand didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kåre Vedholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astral Claws's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Olsson ran over to the corner to take the kick.
