Andy Dahlkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Lidman in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Byske got a freekick which was hit by Östen Hultin. Knut Lidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Andy Dahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Dahlkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agne Ödman in the 22nd minute of the match. Eric Bengtsson was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Kåre Jakobsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kåre Jakobsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After 26 played minutes Byske got a freekick which was hit by Paul Lindqvist. In the 31st minute, Knut Lidman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andy Dahlkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Knut Lidman in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Östen Hultin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Smedfeldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Eric Bengtsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kåre Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Bengtsson having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

57 minutes into the game, Kent Nyqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torup IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Byske the free kick. In the 57th minute, Kent Nyqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Knut Lidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Smedfeldt in the 65th minute of play forced Torup IK's goalkeeper Eric Bengtsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Smedfeldt in the 70th minute of the match. Knut Lidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andy Dahlkvist having to interfere. The supporters of Torup IK booed when Byske was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Hultin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Knut Lidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agne Ödman struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Andy Dahlkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torup IK. After a defensive mix-up in Byske's zone, Knut Lidman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Dahlkvist came out of the goal and Knut Lidman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Byske's Andy Dahlkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Byske from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Smedfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Bengtsson having to interfere. Torup IK's Eric Bengtsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Smedfeldt in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Knut Lidman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torup IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Knut Lidman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
