Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 5) Andreas Thidén started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. But to his dismay, Karl-Axel Haström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Oskar Nordin fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Surte's protests and gave Oskar Nordin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Surte getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Oskar Nordin hit a great ball. If Karl-Axel Haström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Dahlkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Hökkvist having to interfere. Andreas Thidén was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Surte's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 38 minutes in the game, Andreas Thidén fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Magnus Hökkvist having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Andreas Thidén fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Magnus Hökkvist, passed just outside the right post. Magnus Hökkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jack Haeger went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Axel Haström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Andreas Thidén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magnus Hökkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Dahlkvist in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Andreas Thidén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Thidén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magnus Hökkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Dahlkvist in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Axel Haström in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rutger Siöberg saved Surte from getting behind. Ludvig Runberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludvig Runberg got free with Rutger Siöberg in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Surte's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
