Jonas Bern took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Snäll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörgen Snäll blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Bern having to make a save. If Torsten Vik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludvig Hedlund made a kick off. Jonas Bern didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 58th match minute, BK Spökstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Bruse to maneuver through the defense. If Sven-Erik Allbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Sven-Erik Allbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Liljeström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
