Thanks to some nice moves Henry Apelkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Bengt-Rune Liljeström however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Nykvist in the 25th minute of play forced BK Spökstad's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Liljeström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Henry Apelkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rolf Bruse fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Spökstad's protests and gave Rolf Bruse a yellow card for diving instead.
