Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Kuse started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Fastesson in the 3rd minute of play forced Dannike's goalkeeper Claes Åkerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dannike getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Aleksander Näfver hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Tomas Askestät managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Askestät was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Åkerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Askestät sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Bammerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Royal Football Club getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alfons Fastesson hit a great ball. Tomas Askestät hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Eric Kuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Claes Åkerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Tomas Askestät managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Askestät was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claes Åkerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Dannike getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Roger Elg hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Joar Berglund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dannike's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Royal Football Club the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Dannike was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joar Berglund to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egil Bammerman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan-Olof Ambjörnsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egil Bammerman went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Dannike's Claes Åkerberg got control of the ball when Tomas Askestät tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claes Åkerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Kuse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Eric Kuse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Kuse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Tomas Askestät ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claes Åkerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eric Kuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan-Olof Ambjörnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Bammerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Royal Football Club's Jan-Olof Ambjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Ingemarsson in the 85th minute of play. After 85 minutes, Björn Vallin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dannike and the Royal Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Björn Vallin kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Kuse in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Åkerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 91 minutes of play, Dannike's Jens-Ove Ingemarsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Olof Ambjörnsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Royal Football Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dannike.
