Niclas Wickander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ragnar Karlsson was the one to do the kick off. If Tomas Askestät had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peder Käcker struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Jan-Olof Ambjörnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Näshulta. 78 minutes into the match, Ragnar Karlsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan-Olof Ambjörnsson, 2-1. Tomas Askestät fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Wickander having to interfere. The corner led Näshulta's Fred Gulliksson to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan-Olof Ambjörnsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Niclas Wickander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Kuse, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
