Spectators: 6672 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Melander in the 4th minute of play forced Näshulta's goalkeeper Niclas Wickander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marko Melander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niclas Wickander having to interfere. With his leg Bengt-Rune Skröder managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Näshulta's Peder Käcker fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st minute, Marko Melander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niclas Wickander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Atwood's zone, Peder Käcker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Rune Skröder came out of the goal and Peder Käcker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Näshulta's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Melander came free, but Niclas Wickander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, FC Atwood's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Karlsson came free, but Bengt-Rune Skröder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Peder Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ragnar Karlsson to make the kick off. Nils Ekeberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Niclas Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Melander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, FC Atwood's goal looked a bit too open when Peder Käcker came free, but Bengt-Rune Skröder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Aleksander Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ragnar Karlsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulf Linquist hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ragnar Karlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Rune Skröder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ragnar Karlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peder Käcker in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Skröder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Peder Käcker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Näshulta's supporters rose to their feet, but Peder Käcker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Rune Skröder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peder Käcker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Skröder having to interfere. Ragnar Karlsson scored 1-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Rune Skröder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
