Olle Bratt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kent Kristiansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Olle Bratt came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Pixerium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olle Bratt couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Sävström during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Barca FC got a freekick which was hit by Michel Sävström. 34 minutes in the game, Fredrik Alstedt fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Herbert Kjellqvist having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Barca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Haegg came free, but Kent Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 53 minutes, Olle Bratt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pixerium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olle Bratt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredrik Alstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, FC Pixerium's Frank Asserlindh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kent Kristiansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Barca FC's Henrik Hägg got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edwin Strand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Fagrell's late challenge caught a FC Pixerium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
