The referee ignored Filipstad's protests and gave Holger Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th match minute, Filipstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Eliasson to maneuver through the defense. Boris Kämpe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Filipstad's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 76 played minutes Koppom IK got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Lundin. Ove Nyman was a little too slow when Ivar Vollander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-5. Boris Kämpe struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ove Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Filipstad. In the 92nd minute, Sonny Bergvall made a precise shot to the right of Isaac Mickelsson. Filipstad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. Boris Kämpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ove Nyman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
