Henrik Blomqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bengt-Rune Söderqwist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Kurt Bergvall made a huge save. Bengt-Rune Söderqwist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Helge Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mårten Åberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Henrik Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Söderman in the 51st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rune Söderman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrik Blomqvist. That made the score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. Kurt Bergvall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Söderqwist in the 64th minute of the match. If Mårten Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ultras Kingsfield United getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Leo Deckberg hit a great ball. When Leo Deckberg got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Ultras Kingsfield United. After a defensive mix-up in Immortal FC's zone, Leo Deckberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrik Blomqvist came out of the goal and Leo Deckberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Leo Deckberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jim Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Leo Deckberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Bergvall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Söderqwist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ultras Kingsfield United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
