Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rikard Boman got the match started through his kick off. When Smedjebacken RK's Rikard Boman in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Börje Hökqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Smedjebacken RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rikard Boman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Hökqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claes Dahlberg in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrik Lindholm saved Smedjebacken RK from getting behind. In the 21st minute Rikard Boman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Börje Hökqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Kärrtorp United defense, Rikard Boman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börje Hökqvist. The Kärrtorp United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börje Hökqvist should have stopped the shot. Henrik Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Beckström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Kärrtorp United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Myr to maneuver through the defense. Stig-Ove Felin scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Börje Hökqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilbert Beckström to strike the kick off in the second half. Börje Hökqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikard Boman in the 57th minute of the match. Stig-Ove Felin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Börje Hökqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Stig-Ove Felin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kärrtorp United's Börje Hökqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Beckström in the 71st minute of play forced Smedjebacken RK's goalkeeper Henrik Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Gilbert Beckström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrik Lindholm. Gilbert Beckström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Stig-Ove Felin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kärrtorp United's Mikael Ugla got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Smedjebacken RK booed when Kärrtorp United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Hellgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rikard Boman succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. There was no doubt that Smedjebacken RK were the better team. Smedjebacken RK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
