The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 1-0 became the score in the 7th minute when Kurt Söderlund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Anthon Malmgren's late challenge caught a Real Mandri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Holmön BK's Tim Hedling got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Holmön BK booed when Real Mandri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Jespersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Tim Hedling made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Vennerström. Real Mandri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Håkan Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Tim Hedling took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Vennerström. Aaron Vennerström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Holmön BK's Wictor Frykberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Hellsing in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Holmön BK's zone, Örjan Hellsing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Frykberg came out of the goal and Örjan Hellsing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real Mandri's Ralf Jespersson suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 60 minutes into the game, Andreas Kilberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holmön BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Mandri the free kick. Håkan Jonasson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wictor Frykberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Håkan Jonasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Frykberg having to interfere. Tim Hedling struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Aaron Vennerström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmön BK. Kurt Söderlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Marko Kvarnström put in a rough tackle. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Mandri! Real Mandri:s Aaron Vennerström showed great skill when he stopped Herman Jespersson:s penalty. After a long run with the ball, Herman Jespersson did a trick in the 80th minute in front of Real Mandri's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 4-0. An impressive performance by Holmön BK's Herman Jespersson! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim Hedling in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Vennerström saved Real Mandri from getting behind. Tim Hedling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Vennerström having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Holmön BK's Kurt Söderlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aaron Vennerström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Aaron Vennerström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim Hedling went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Holmön BK had won after a very even match.
