The supporters of Trelleborgs IF booed when Kungsör was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Lång didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Lindqvist scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustav Åström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 minutes, Andy Hägg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trelleborgs IF and the Kungsör players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Oskar Haström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Kilström. Trelleborgs IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oskar Haström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Gustav Åström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Runberg in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sigvard Lång to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Lindqvist in the 54th minute of play forced Kungsör's goalkeeper Gustav Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Kilström came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Kungsör's Oskar Haström. But to his dismay, Oskar Haström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Gilbert Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gustav Åström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trelleborgs IF. After 61 played minutes Kungsör got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Uter. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Trelleborgs IF. Calle Runeberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gustav Åström. 3-2. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Oskar Haström took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Michael Kilström to make any attempt to save it. Trelleborgs IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
