Spectators: 6600 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kjell-Arne Westerberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, Fagersanna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. Anders Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Mickelsson in the 4th minute of play. If Helge Mickelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Helge Mickelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Falkrantz having to interfere. John Skoglund's late challenge caught a Fagersanna IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Skoglund helped the player get up and apologised. 14 minutes into the match, Fagersanna IF's Michel Danielsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anders Falkrantz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 18 minutes, Mattias Danielsson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fagersanna IF's Bertil Jakobsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rinkaby BK's Kjell-Arne Westerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Danielsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Rinkaby BK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sven Ek hit a great ball. If Peter Larsfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rinkaby BK's Kjell-Arne Westerberg in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fagersanna IF's goalie prevented a goal. Peter Larsfelt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bertil Jakobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Westerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Jakobsson having to interfere. Bertil Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Westerberg in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half Rinkaby BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helge Mickelsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bertil Jakobsson came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Rinkaby BK's Peter Larsfelt. But to his dismay, Peter Larsfelt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bertil Jakobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kjell-Arne Westerberg in the 65th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, Ludwig Johnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fagersanna IF and the Rinkaby BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ludwig Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fagersanna IF's Elof Olofsson got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 80 minutes into the game, Sivert Berggren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fagersanna IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rinkaby BK the free kick. Sivert Berggren hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Peter Larsfelt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rinkaby BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Larsfelt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bertil Jakobsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bertil Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Westerberg in the 88th minute of play. Anders Falkrantz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michel Danielsson's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Rinkaby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Johnsson came free, but Anders Falkrantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rinkaby BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
