Paul Högström helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes FC Orange got a freekick which was hit by Paul Högström. Michael Sandwall had several of the Södra Sunderbyn's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Bernt Ahlroth as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 13th minute, Michael Sandwall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Säf in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jens-Ove Alström saved FC Orange from getting behind. In the 16th match minute, FC Orange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Högström to maneuver through the defense. Lars Säf scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens-Ove Alström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars Säf struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jens-Ove Alström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södra Sunderbyn. After 22 played minutes FC Orange got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Rydelius. Paul Högström got his second yellow card in the match during the 23rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Paul Högström hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Lars Säf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Orange's Jens-Ove Alström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcus Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Alström having to interfere. Jens-Ove Alström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Oskar Forsberg in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Orange getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Simon Jakobsson hit a great ball. Lars Säf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Orange's Jens-Ove Alström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Säf in the 41st minute of play. Sven-Oskar Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Alström having to interfere. After 45 played minutes FC Orange got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Rydelius. After recieving a nice pass, Södra Sunderbyn's Östen Stensson tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars Säf to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Södra Sunderbyn's Lars Säf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens-Ove Alström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A hard shot 61 in the game by Lars Säf from a close distance when the talented Jens-Ove Alström managed to make a qualified save. FC Orange's players were relieved. Lars Säf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Alström having to interfere. Marcus Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Alström having to interfere. Södra Sunderbyn's Östen Stensson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jens-Ove Alström but with some difficulty. With a little luck, FC Orange's Jens-Ove Alström got control of the ball when Lars Säf tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Lars Säf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Södra Sunderbyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Stefan Josefsson kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Lars Säf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Jens-Ove Alström made a huge save. The FC Orange fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Södra Sunderbyn were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
