Spectators: 7312 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sven-Arne Henriksson got the match started through his kick off. Birger Andreasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Jörgen Melberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Melberg came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Våxtorp's Birger Andreasson. But to his dismay, Birger Andreasson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Birger Andreasson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Melberg having to interfere. When Tobias Ekström came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Våxtorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Ekström couldn't finish the play. Andréas Falkrans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Olov Hultin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Olov Alström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Birger Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Jörgen Melberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Andreasson in the 44th minute of play forced Snoskarna 69ers's goalkeeper Jörgen Melberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Snoskarna 69ers's goalkeeper Jörgen Melberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Birger Andreasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Våxtorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Andreasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Våxtorp were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birger Andreasson to make the kick off. Tobias Ekström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Jörgen Melberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 54th minute, Birger Andreasson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jörgen Melberg. The goal made the score 0-3. Birger Andreasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birger Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Hultin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Arne Henriksson's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Andréas Falkrans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Hultin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Snoskarna 69ers's goalkeeper Jörgen Melberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Ekström. Jörgen Melberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Andreasson in the 70th minute of play. Tobias Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Melberg having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Snoskarna 69ers's goalkeeper Jörgen Melberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jörgen Melberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Andreasson in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Andréas Falkrans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tobias Ekström in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jörgen Melberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 88th minute Sven-Arne Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Hultin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Snoskarna 69ers's corner Kjell-Arne Fransson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Olov Hultin quite easily take care of the ball. When Birger Andreasson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Våxtorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Andreasson couldn't finish the play. In the 95th match minute, Snoskarna 69ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Alström to maneuver through the defense. The Snoskarna 69ers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Våxtorp were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
