Karl-Magnus Snell had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping André Söderström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Hjalmar Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Ove Olsmann was the one to do the kick off. After 84 played minutes Norsborg got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Skytt. Karl-Magnus Snell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Olsmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Edvin Ek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulf Nyström. Highbury FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvin Ek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ulf Nyström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pelle Hermansson went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 97 minutes into the game, Leo Klintæus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Highbury FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norsborg the free kick. A collision led to Highbury FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Leo Klintæus hit a great ball. Ulf Nyström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvin Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Norsborg had won after a very even match.
