Spectators: 7057 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 5) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per-Åke Bergström started the match with the kick off. When Ivar Pihlberg came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the NEW YORK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Pihlberg couldn't finish the play. Jonas Söderman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Harman having to interfere. After 7 played minutes Trandareds FF got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Bergström. After having played for 13 minutes, Jonas Söderman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NEW YORK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Söderman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Söderman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Jarl Söderqwist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jonas Söderman managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEW YORK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Söderman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Harman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. NEW YORK's Jarl Söderqwist got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Paul Kullander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trandareds FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NEW YORK the free kick. In the 31st minute, Paul Kullander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 33 minutes, Jonas Söderman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Söderman was the one to do the kick off. Ivar Pihlberg didn't quite understand what happened when in the 53 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Helge Trulsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helge Trulsson scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens Lindmark, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Helge Trulsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Harman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarl Söderqwist in the 69th minute. Trandareds FF's Per-Åke Bergström got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Helge Trulsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Lindmark having to interfere. Jarl Söderqwist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Simon Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ivar Pihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Trandareds FF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonas Söderman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Per-Åke Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jens Lindmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
