Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After having played for 32 minutes, Stig-Åke Finman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rörvik RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Åke Finman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stig-Åke Finman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Arhenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Arhenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Rolandsson having to interfere. If Stig-Åke Finman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Åkerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Petter Bratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, DEF Ye's Patrick Åkerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petter Bratt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Åkerman was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in DEF Ye's zone, Edward Arhenius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Rolandsson came out of the goal and Edward Arhenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esbjörn Ekström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Petter Bratt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patrick Åkerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esbjörn Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Bratt having to interfere. DEF Ye's Esbjörn Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esbjörn Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Petter Bratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Rörvik RK's goalkeeper Petter Bratt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esbjörn Ekström. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilhelm Boklund during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of DEF Ye booed when Rörvik RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Boklund didn't get a good kick on the ball.
