If Egil Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Olenberg in the 13th minute of play forced Efesspor's goalkeeper Freddie Jansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Freddie Olenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Kaxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Jansson having to interfere. The supporters of Efesspor booed when Kulltorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Bjurström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddie Olenberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddie Jansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Freddie Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Olenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Efesspor's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Olenberg came free, but Freddie Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kulltorp getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Freddie Olenberg hit a great ball. Efesspor's Ronny Björklund got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmund Kaxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eskil Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Edmund Kaxe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronny Björklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Tommy Wassenius made a huge save. Edmund Kaxe struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Freddie Jansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kulltorp. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Freddie Jansson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lars Björkman. Efesspor's Freddie Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Olenberg in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Kulltorp's Freddie Olenberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Freddie Jansson. Freddie Jansson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. If Egil Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Kulltorp got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Uggla. It was beautiful to see Efesspor's Rutger Hjortberg in action when he in the 66th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Egil Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes of play, Efesspor's Egil Söderström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Wassenius was left in no man's land by his defense there! Efesspor's Freddie Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Olenberg in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Freddie Olenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Freddie Jansson was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Egil Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tommy Wassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Egil Söderström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Efesspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Söderström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Wassenius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Kulltorp players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Efesspor from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
