In the 21st minute, DEF Ye's Patrick Åkerman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edmund Nilsson. Edmund Nilsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Grimstorp FK's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Åkerman came free, but Edmund Nilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Rolandsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Brummer in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, DEF Ye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincent Skark to maneuver through the defense. If Bernt Brummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Dahlman in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anders Rolandsson saved DEF Ye from getting behind. In the 38th minute Bernt Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Rolandsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esbjörn Ekström struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Edmund Nilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DEF Ye.
