Old Fat Bastards's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgny Tham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mårten Strömberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joakim Strömberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mårten Strömberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 played minutes NAJS got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Jonasson. Edward Wiman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Victor Heggert 14 minutes into the match. If Torgny Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Wiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Victor Heggert made a huge save. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Old Fat Bastards's goalkeeper Victor Heggert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mårten Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Old Fat Bastards fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mårten Strömberg couldn't finish the play. Joakim Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Edward Wiman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Victor Heggert made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Lindberg in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Heggert saved Old Fat Bastards from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Lindberg to make the kick off. Verner Lindmark's late challenge caught a NAJS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Verner Lindmark helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave NAJS a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rolf Dahlkvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Old Fat Bastards's Victor Heggert. 2-0. If Hugo Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Hugo Lindberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Heggert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Tham in the 66th minute of play. Joakim Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Tham in the 69th minute of the match. When NAJS's Hugo Lindberg in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Old Fat Bastards's goalie prevented a goal. Hubert Olsson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Hugo Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. NAJS's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Lindberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Heggert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torgny Tham struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Joakim Strömberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old Fat Bastards. NAJS's Joakim Strömberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save NAJS from getting a goal against them. Stig-Ove Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Victor Heggert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Heggert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Lindberg in the 98th minute of the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Old Fat Bastards's goalie and right to Stig-Ove Jonasson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Old Fat Bastards's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
