Stig-Ove Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Rickard Näfver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NAJS. In the 20th minute Måns Klintæus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Pontus Blomquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tararps if's supporters rose to their feet, but Pontus Blomquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Strömberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rickard Näfver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of NAJS booed when Tararps if was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Måns Klintæus didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, NAJS's Edward Wiman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rickard Näfver made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rickard Näfver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Wiman in the 37th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Pontus Blomquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tararps if's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pontus Blomquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. NAJS's Joakim Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pontus Blomquist in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hugo Lindberg made the kick off in the second half. Ulrik Sjöman hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Pontus Blomquist struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. The Tararps if fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tararps if's goalkeeper Rickard Näfver, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tararps if played a much better game than NAJS and deserved their victory. The NAJS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
