Mikael Hultman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Esbjörnsson in the 18th minute of the match. Mikael Hultman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Krister Hermansson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. If Krister Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Kristoffer Esbjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Yoda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristoffer Esbjörnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 39 minutes, Jörgen Lund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekeby IF and the FC Yoda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ekeby IF's Jörgen Lund got a free kick in the 39th minute. Krister Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lennart Vennerdal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albert Alstedt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gabriel Nyberg. Krister Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Ezequiel Santiago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Kristoffer Esbjörnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Hultman was relentless in the 58th minute of the game.
