After a rather tough play, Ambjörnarp IK's Christopher Bagge got a free kick in the 17th minute. Christopher Bagge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixten Vikström having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Emanuel Blomberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ambjörnarp IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Ambjörnarp IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Blomberg to maneuver through the defense. When Christopher Bagge came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Ambjörnarp IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Bagge couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Blomberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Ambjörnarp IK's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Kiempe came free, but Jan-Åke Blom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ambjörnarp IK's Hannes Enegren got a free kick in the 39th minute. Linus Granström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Ambjörnarp IK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Blomberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Blomberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Åsarna's Sixten Vikström got control of the ball when Christopher Bagge tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Blomberg in the 60th minute of play forced Åsarna's goalkeeper Sixten Vikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Åsarna's goalie and right to Krister Löfgren. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Christopher Bagge got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 82 minutes into the match, Edmund Kiempe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Åke Blom. Ambjörnarp IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Kiempe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Linus Granström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jan-Åke Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Blomberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixten Vikström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Åsarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Böcklund to maneuver through the defense. Ambjörnarp IK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Åsarna to leave the ground with a draw.
