Ralf Kihlman made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Anton Skytt sent off a good shot on target. Anton Skytt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Kihlman having to interfere. Rudolf Odén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Åke Botvidsson hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Arvin Björk, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Kalle Hedlund came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the AFC Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalle Hedlund couldn't finish the play. Ralf Kihlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Odén in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kalle Hedlund to make the kick off. The supporters of AFC Juniors booed when Lilywhites was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Hökkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joar Sandwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Hedlund in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC Juniors players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lilywhites.
