The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kim Arvidsson charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kim Arvidsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kim Arvidsson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Cane in the 8th minute of play forced DuRaKK FC's goalkeeper Anthon Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gaylord.Inc! When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, DuRaKK FC's Lukas Hallgren got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arne Falck. When Charlie Beckeman came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the DuRaKK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Beckeman couldn't finish the play. Charlie Beckeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Falck having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Mellbad in the 31st minute of play forced DuRaKK FC's goalkeeper Anthon Åhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthon Åhlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Pettersson in the 33rd minute of play. Gaylord.Inc's Arne Falck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Gaylord.Inc from getting a goal against them. Sven-Ove Backman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Arne Falck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charlie Beckeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Falck having to interfere. Charlie Beckeman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Beckeman in the 47th minute of play forced Gaylord.Inc's goalkeeper Arne Falck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind DuRaKK FC's goalkeeper Anthon Åhlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kim Arvidsson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Arne Falck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DuRaKK FC. In the 54th match minute, Gaylord.Inc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Nyman to maneuver through the defense. Arne Falck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Backman in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Torgny Mellbad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Gaylord.Inc's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Backman came free, but Arne Falck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gaylord.Inc's Aleksander Nyman got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sven-Ove Backman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arne Falck having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Gaylord.Inc's zone, Sven-Ove Backman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Falck came out of the goal and Sven-Ove Backman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Aleksander Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaylord.Inc's Arne Falck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Backman in the 81st minute of play. Arne Falck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Beckeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. DuRaKK FC's Anthon Åhlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save DuRaKK FC from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, DuRaKK FC's goalkeeper Anthon Åhlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Cane. When Kristoffer Groth fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DuRaKK FC's protests and gave Kristoffer Groth a yellow card for diving instead. 92 minutes into the game, one of DuRaKK FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Ove Lundhberg came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the DuRaKK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Lundhberg couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
