Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Johnny Pihlblad started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Ellsons fc's Morgan Holmgren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Måns Jansson scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of John Magnusson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. John Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Gerdberg in the 15th minute of play. Måns Jansson kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ekerö IF's Stig-Ove Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Pihlblad in the 16th minute of play. Ellsons fc's John Magnusson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Gerdberg in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Johnny Pihlblad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig-Ove Sjögren was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The supporters of Ekerö IF booed when Ellsons fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Odman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Ekerö IF's goalkeeper Stig-Ove Sjögren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnny Pihlblad. Stig-Ove Sjögren came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Ellsons fc's Johnny Pihlblad. But to his dismay, Johnny Pihlblad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 29 played minutes Ekerö IF got a freekick which was hit by Måns Jansson. Ellsons fc's Morgan Holmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Allan Söderström lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ellsons fc! In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Ekerö IF. Bengt Håning stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving John Magnusson. 2-2. John Magnusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Gerdberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Ove Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Holmgren in the 44th minute of play. Leo Flinck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leif Gerdberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Ellsons fc got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Michael Bergstedt. Leif Gerdberg made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 55thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but John Magnusson would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Morgan Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Ove Sjögren having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Leif Gerdberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. John Magnusson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 74 minutes of play, Ekerö IF's Leif Gerdberg made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Magnusson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, Hans Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Magnusson was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Leif Gerdberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leif Gerdberg really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. After a rather tough play, Ekerö IF's Måns Jansson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Morgan Holmgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig-Ove Sjögren having to make a save. After having played for 85 minutes, Morgan Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ellsons fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Michael Bergstedt hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Leif Gerdberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Magnusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. 92 minutes into the match, Morgan Holmgren notched a goal, 3-6, to the right of Ekerö IF's Stig-Ove Sjögren. Stig-Ove Sjögren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ekerö IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
