The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the game, Ulrik Högström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Johannes Törnblom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard Kullander made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Folke Öman sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Marcus Widberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FC Holy Talents's Ulrik Högström in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Södra Vi BF's goalie prevented a goal. David Lundgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Holy Talents getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Joakim Wassenius hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Jim Danielsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Törnblom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Johannes Törnblom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulrik Högström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Törnblom having to interfere. If Folke Öman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, FC Holy Talents's Ulrik Högström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johannes Törnblom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. If Ulrik Högström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johannes Törnblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

52 minutes into the match, David Lundgren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Johannes Törnblom, 0-5. Johannes Törnblom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Lundgren's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Södra Vi BF's zone, David Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Törnblom came out of the goal and David Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes in the game, Ulrik Högström fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Johannes Törnblom having to interfere. Johannes Törnblom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrik Högström got free with Johannes Törnblom in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Södra Vi BF's Folke Öman got a free kick in the 77th minute. David Lundgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Johannes Törnblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, FC Holy Talents's Ulrik Högström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johannes Törnblom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johannes Törnblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Lundgren in the 85th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, FC Holy Talents's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Widberg came free, but Richard Kullander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Joakim Wassenius fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Holy Talents's protests and gave Joakim Wassenius a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes FC Holy Talents got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Wassenius. In the 92nd minute, Frank Johnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Ulrik Högström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johannes Törnblom. The goal made the score 0-7.
