Harald Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Ros in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Hallstahammar FF were awarded a corner. Dag Mellbad went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Hallstahammar FF's corner Dag Mellbad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Harald Deckbergh quite easily take care of the ball. Dag Mellbad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Harald Deckbergh. Aneby RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kåre Isaksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harald Deckbergh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Bernt Lidberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aneby RK and the Hallstahammar FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nils-Åke Nordström came out of the goal and Torbjörn Stenström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 98 minutes of play Aneby RK's Bertil Björklund was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground.
