Kjell-Arne Sigman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Isaksson in the 7th minute of play. Kjell-Arne Sigman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Ros in the 20th minute of the match. Kåre Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kåre Isaksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Kjell-Arne Sigman made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Rune Ros put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kjell-Arne Sigman. Kåre Isaksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Kjell-Arne Sigman made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rune Ros to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pålsboda's Jan-Åke Stigsson got a free kick in the 51st minute. Kjell-Arne Sigman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Isaksson in the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Rune Ros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hallstahammar FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Ros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kjell-Arne Sigman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Isaksson in the 67th minute of the match. If Kåre Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pålsboda's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Sigman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Rune Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hallstahammar FF's Kåre Isaksson got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kåre Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kåre Isaksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rune Ros in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell-Arne Sigman saved Pålsboda from getting behind. Rune Ros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kåre Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Sigman having to interfere. Hallstahammar FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
