Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gösta Kiempe to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Käller in the 70th minute of play forced Oskarström IK's goalkeeper Algot Nilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stenungsund's Gösta Kiempe got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Morat got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Stenungsund's Michel Morat got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Kenny Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Oskarström IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kenny Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Algot Nilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Käller in the 82nd minute of the match. Hampus Sillén's late challenge caught a Oskarström IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hampus Sillén helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Oskarström IK booed when Stenungsund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hampus Sillén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Käller scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Algot Nilsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stenungsund's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
