Joel Käller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Torbjörn Stenström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Käller hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Stenungsund got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Sillén. Joel Käller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Torbjörn Stenström made the kick off in the second half. When Gösta Kiempe came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Stenungsund fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Kiempe couldn't finish the play. Aneby RK's Jan-Erik Askelöf got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Harald Deckbergh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Kiempe, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Aneby RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Björklund to maneuver through the defense. If Gösta Kiempe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Käller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 2-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Joel Käller elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Harald Deckbergh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Käller in the 84th minute of play. Harald Deckbergh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Kiempe's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Bertil Björklund hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Jan-Erik Askelöf who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Ove Hammarbäck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 96thth minute of the game Joel Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aneby RK's Harald Deckbergh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 98th minute Joel Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stenungsund's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
