Knut Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Orvar Wik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktor Sjöö saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orvar Wik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the game, Elliott Albohm was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åmsele RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Jedinstvo Vrbanja the free kick. Elliott Albohm kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Viktor Sjöö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Wik in the 26th minute of the match. Åmsele RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orvar Wik to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Kurt Frisck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Damm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Kenny Hammarström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orvar Wik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Sjöö having to interfere. If Ivan Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Klintæus kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match.
