In the 4th minute, one of Braås BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Braås BK. FK Jedinstvo Vrbanja's Knut Damm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save FK Jedinstvo Vrbanja from getting a goal against them. Wictor Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orvar Wik, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to Braås BK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Börge Ståhlman hit a great ball. Wictor Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Bern in the 14th minute of play. Knut Damm made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Olov Dahlberg sent off a good shot on target. When Olov Dahlberg came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Braås BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Dahlberg couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Olov Dahlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Braås BK's zone, Orvar Wik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Strömberg came out of the goal and Orvar Wik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Braås BK defense, Orvar Wik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wictor Strömberg. The Braås BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wictor Strömberg should have stopped the shot. Ivan Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Wictor Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olov Dahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orvar Wik made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, FK Jedinstvo Vrbanja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. Gunnar Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FK Jedinstvo Vrbanja's Knut Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Linqvist in the 58th minute of play. Ivan Bern recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, FK Jedinstvo Vrbanja's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Linqvist came free, but Knut Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niclas Hagberg charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niclas Hagberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Braås BK booed when FK Jedinstvo Vrbanja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peder Danielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FK Jedinstvo Vrbanja's Wictor Strömberg threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orvar Wik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Knut Damm came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Braås BK's Gunnar Linqvist. But to his dismay, Gunnar Linqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 91 minutes into the match, Braås BK's Olov Dahlberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Knut Damm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Braås BK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
